A comforting and indulgent casserole combining the flavors of cinnamon rolls and French toast, perfect for brunch or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can of cinnamon rolls
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your casserole dish.
  2. Prepare the cinnamon rolls by cutting each roll into quarters and scattering them in the casserole dish.
  3. Make the custard by whisking together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon; pour over the cinnamon roll pieces.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
  5. Prepare the icing by mixing powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of milk until smooth, then drizzle over the casserole before serving.

Notes

Let the casserole sit for a minute after baking to set slightly. For added flavor, consider adding chopped nuts or berries.
