Description

Delicious and wholesome homemade Butterfingers made with natural ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients: Start by combining the peanut butter, maple syrup (or honey), coconut flour, and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl. Stir well until everything is nicely blended.
  2. Press it in: Grab your lined baking dish and press the mixture evenly into the bottom. Use your spatula to pack it smooth.
  3. Chill: Pop the dish in the fridge for about 30 minutes to allow it to firm up.
  4. Melt chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in short bursts, stirring often.
  5. Coat the bars: Once the base is firm, cut it into bars and dip each into the chocolate mixture.
  6. Set them: Refrigerate until the chocolate has set.
  7. Enjoy: Cut into squares and enjoy your healthy homemade Butterfingers.

Notes

Customize these bars by adding chopped nuts or a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the chocolate before it hardens.
