Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package mini sausages
  • 2 jalapenos, sliced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 package puff pastry or crescent roll dough
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the puff pastry or crescent roll package directions, usually around 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, and crumbled bacon in a bowl until smooth but with some texture.
  3. Unroll the dough and cut it into 3-inch squares.
  4. Place a mini sausage in the center of each square, add a spoonful of the cheese mixture, and fold the dough over.
  5. Seal the edges well to prevent leaking.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush the tops with an egg wash.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra shine, remember to use egg wash. Adjust baking time for preferred texture.
