Delicious oven-baked dumplings served with a creamy peanut sauce, perfect for a savory meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- Garnish
- ¼ cup sliced green onions
- ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2–4 tablespoons chili crisp (optional, for spice)
- Sauce
- 2 cups broth or water
- ⅔ cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
- Main Ingredients
- 14–20 frozen dumplings (depending on dish size)
- 2 cups broccoli florets, trimmed into small pieces
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a medium casserole dish or an oven-safe braiser.
- Pour the broth into the baking dish, add peanut butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the frozen dumplings flat-side down in the dish and coat them with the sauce.
- Nestle the broccoli florets around the dumplings, ensuring they are partially covered in sauce.
- Cover the dish with a lid or foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove the cover and gently stir the sauce. Let sit uncovered for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Sprinkle with green onions, cilantro, sesame seeds, and chili crisp if desired.
- Serve straight from the baking dish and enjoy!
Notes
- Feel free to adjust the spiciness by adding more or less chili crisp.
- For a vegetarian option, ensure the broth used is vegetable-based.
