Description

A delightful dessert featuring flaky puff pastry layered with creamy vanilla custard and fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/2 cup vanilla custard
  • Additional raspberries for garnish
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
  3. Place the rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
  5. Let cool completely on a cooling rack.
  6. Whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until stiff peaks form.
  7. Slice each rectangle in half horizontally to create layers.
  8. Spread a layer of vanilla custard on the bottom half, followed by whipped cream and fresh raspberries.
  9. Place the top half of the pastry back on, repeating for remaining pieces.
  10. Dust with powdered sugar and garnish with more raspberries before serving.

Notes

Best served chilled or at room temperature. The puff pastry may lose some crispiness over time. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
