Description

A comforting dish of tender steak, buttery mushrooms, and savory onions coated in a creamy sauce over al dente spaghetti.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb steak, sliced (flank or sirloin recommended)
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the steak in a large skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat for about 3-5 minutes, then remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the mushrooms, onions, and garlic in the same skillet until the mushrooms are tender and onions are translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Combine the steak back into the skillet, then add the cream and Parmesan. Stir well and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the steak and mushroom mixture until well coated.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavors. Adjust the creaminess to your liking by adding more heavy cream if desired.
