Description

Delightful soft sugar cookie cups filled with colorful candies, perfect for any gathering or family time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • Colorful candies (like M&Ms or sprinkles) for filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
  6. Roll small balls of dough and place them in a greased muffin pan.
  7. Press the dough into the bottom and sides of the muffin pan to create a cup shape.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately press a candy into the center of each cookie cup.
  10. Allow to cool before serving.

Notes

Chill the dough for 30 minutes for thicker cookies and ensure proper greasing of the muffin pan.
